Our Move Management Team
When you have lived in a home for decades, where you started your adult life, your marriage, and your family, the transition to a new home can be overwhelming. There are memories and belongings to be preserved – safely packed and transported to your new home. That’s why you need a professional moving team.
Rainbow Movers is a full-service moving and storage company founded in 1918. Our company has gone from one man and a wagon to the quality service it is today thanks to our incredible team of Rainbow “movers”. Our team of professional movers is dedicated to providing our customers with quality service.
A note about donations: You will have the best of intentions for the things you no longer want, but maybe overwhelmed by the other things you have to do for your home move. We will make sure that your clothes, furnishings, and food items will go to places that help the community. It will be one less thing for you to do yet you’ll be doing good for others.

Erin McEnaney, President
I’ve met plenty of people and learned many of their stories over my three decades of working at Rainbow Movers. It’s a good thing because, in the end, it’s the stories we’re preserving as we move seniors and baby boomers from homes they have lived in for many years.
I am the fourth-generation owner of Rainbow Movers, started by my great grandfather in 1918 after returning from Foreign Service in the Rainbow Battalion during WWI. As a teenager, I traveled the road with my father as his packer and loading helper.
After earning a college degree in geriatrics with the vision of working in elder care, I was drawn back into the family business. In 2007, after years of moving seniors on the moving side of the business, I became certified as a Senior Move Manager. Over the past 38 years, I have performed nearly every sales, customer service, and general management function within the organization. The combination of my professional experience along with my education has prepared me to successfully and compassionately guide seniors through the uncertainty and stress that is involved with late in life transition moves.
When I’m not managing moves for our customers, I invest my time volunteering for the Franklin Food Pantry through their Move for Hunger program, and for Milford Hospital.

What People Are Saying!
We had an exceptional experience with Rainbow Senior Moves. The crew paid attention to details, they were so careful and patient as they placed items just perfectly in my mom’s new home. They were efficient with the time and we really appreciated their help and kind nature. Thank you so much to Erin, Samantha, and everyone who made this work!
